-visited June 2017
-less than a half mile total
-very easy
-real bathrooms
-nearby: Greylock Reservation
-notes:
-small paved parking lot, pay to park, sign at beginning of road, visitor center at end of road
-limited hours open
-walk along man made stairs and platforms, platforms are fenced in, but project over area to see better
-some obstructions of actual falls (trees/vegetation), but shape of rocks also blocks some of the views through the chasm
-no debris in falls, but some debris gathering in the chasm
-vantage points aren't optimal
-has some small field with picnic tables and a few grills
-has the ruins site (foundation) of an old mill
-has a short trail (from chasm to ruins) that is well shaded, unmarked but easy to follow, and has some man made stairs, but is generally level and flat with a few short steep inclines (not bad). can get a little muddy
-no bugs
-dog friendly
-lots of water even in low water
-majority of area is all sun
