-visited August 2018
-1 Halligan Ave, Shelbourne Falls, Massachusetts
-2.5 mi each way
-very easy side of moderate
-no bathroom
-nearby: Bridge of Flowers
-notes:
-very small paved shoulder on side of road(at beginning of road), looks like a small road extension, free, marked by sign
-trail is incredibly muddy, even without rain, very slick
     -trail is very well marked
-minimal stepping, mainly just slight incline to trail entire way up
-trail is shaded the entire way
-has numerous different mushrooms along the trail
-trees are labeled with what kind of tree they are and fun facts – good educational hike
-summit has an active fire tower on it that you can go up in, is incredibly narrow and have to duck on certain portions because it is short, has small windows on the top that you can see out of, this is the only views you get from the summit, they are limited but still nice
-summit has several picnic tables to sit at and relax
-depending on the time of day the summit can be either shade or sun
     -minimal bugs
     -can bring dogs

Bridge of Flowers - MA

-22 Water Street, Shelbourne Falls, Massachusetts

-easy
-no bathroom
-nearby: Massaemett Mountain
-notes:

Mount Major – NH (Mountain)

-visited June 2018
-865 Mount Major Highway (Route 11), Alton Bay, New Hampshire
-1.6 mi each way if use blue or orange trails
-easy side of moderate
-lots of porta potty bathrooms
-nearby: nothing
-notes:
-giant paved parking lot off the side of the highway, free
     -trails are very well marked
-TAKE BLUE TRAIL, IS EASIER AND LESS AWKWARD STEPPING THAN ORANGE (even though they say orange is easier just longer it is not). They are fairly similar but the orange trail has slicker rocks and more awkward heights
-beginning of the trail is fairly flat with minimal stepping, has some incline. Then after the first .7 miles when the accent begins the trail steepens and becomes lots of rock and stepping
-overall the trail isn’t that bad for stepping/incline and it is fairly short
     -has views along the way
-summit has a nice 360 view (has old foundation you can stand on)
-summit has minimal trees, but does have some trees that obstruct the view a little. Summit is a slab of rock
-Trail is mainly shaded, but has more sun towards the end, the summit is all sun with no shade
     -has orange salamanders
     -minimal bugs
     -can bring dogs

Diana’s Bath – NH (Waterfall)

-visited June 2018
-3748 West Side Road, North Conway, New Hampshire
-.6 miles each way
-easy side of moderate
-porta potty and outhouse bathrooms
-nearby: Lower Falls, Jackson Falls
-notes:
-giant dirt parking lot, pay to park
-beginning of the trail is very flat, no stepping at all and no incline, it is handicap accessible
-beginning of the trail is well marked but also very easy to follow
-trail after first set of falls is very poorly marked, and contains a lot of stones and stepping, easier to just follow the river/falls because easy to get lost trying to stay on trail.
-trail is shade, has picnic tables down by the first set of falls
     -falls are in the sun
-has multiple falls, have to continue on trail or climb up falls to access all the falls
-cannot get all of falls in one picture, they are spaced out over the river
-not great in low water. Would be amazing and impressive if had decent water flow to it.
-some of the falls has some debris in it
-most of the falls are unobstructed views
     -minimal bugs
     -can bring dogs
