Appalachia Falls (Gorden Falls, Lower Salroc Falls, Upper Salroc Falls, Tama Falls) – NH (Waterfalls/Trails)

-visited June 2018
-557 US Route 2, Randolph, New Hampshire
-depends on trails taken 1-3 miles
-easy side of moderate
-no bathroom
-nearby: Mount Madison
-notes:
-giant paved shoulder pull off on the side of the highway, free
-trail has some minor stepping and incline, but fairly easy
-lots of loose brush, twigs, leaves etc, also can get a little rocky/rooted in some places
-trails can be a little confusing, they are well marked but can be hard to figure out. carry a map
-multiple waterfalls along river, all easy to access. Varying but small in size but still decent
-mostly unobstructed views, some vegetation is beginning to grow alongside the falls and is beginning to partially obstruct views
-good in medium water, may dry up if low water?
-cross the river to get other/better vantage points
     -minimal debris in falls
-can continue hike to either mount madison or to other waterfalls
-trails and falls are full shade
-falls are labeled with little white signs
-if continue on the trail along the river after Tama Falls it goes up Mount Madison
     -has lady slippers along trail
     -some bugs
     -can bring dogs
