Jackson Falls – NH (Waterfall)

-1 Carter Notch Road, Jackson, New Hampshire
-Visited June 2018
-Roadside to .2 each way
-Easy
-Portapotty bathrooms (upper parking)
-Nearby: Glen Ellis Falls, Crystal Cascade, Thompson Falls
-Notes:
     -3 parking areas- all dirt and free (all along same road: top, middle and bottom)
     -no trail markings but easy to navigate
     -trails on sides of falls has some stepping (rocky) but can also be slick due to pine needles and incline
     -multi-tier fall
     -ok in low water but would be nicer with medium water, if high water can’t cross/walk up falls
     -falls is completely sun
     -has some trees growing within it, but view is mainly unobstructed, little to no debris in falls
     -falls comprised of many small rocks/slabs of rocks
     -cant see all of falls at once
     -best views come from the middle of the river
     -people like to lounge in it / swim
     -has shaded picnic tables along the side
     -has a nice but obstructed view from the top of the falls
     -some bugs but are minimal
     -has some historic information/artifacts at the bottom
     -can bring dogs
