Thompson Falls – NH (Waterfall)

-.6 miles each way

-no bathrooms (maybe in ski lodge but is locked)

-Nearby: Jackson Falls, Glen Ellis Falls, Crystal Cascade

-notes:

     -giant dirt parking lot, free

     -trail to lower falls has minimal stepping, some rocks and roots, minimal incline, upper portion of trail to continue upriver has a lot of rocks, roots and fallen trees and stepping with some incline

     -trail is well marked

     -trail is fairly well shaded

     -waterfall has multiple sections, a series of small waterfalls and a cascade down a rock face

     -waterfall is ok in low water, but would be better after a decent rainfall

     -falls are almost all shade, with one section being full sun

     -has picnic tables/area in the beginning

     -minimal bugs

     -can bring dogs
