-Approx 4549 Pikes Falls Road, Jamaica, Vermont
-visited June 2017
-.2 miles each way
-very easy
-no bathroom
-nearby: Lye Brook Falls, Hamilton Falls, Buttermilk Falls
-notes:
-large dirt parking shoulder on side of the road, free, no sign marking area or trail
-on end of the parking area has a dirt road that leads to a cemetery. Opposite side of the parking lot is where the trail begins.
-trail is a tiny, narrow, unmarked path that can be a little confusing, follow the sounds of the river
-some stones/roots, and a slight incline to the top of the falls, minimal stepping
-stone stairs to the bottom of the falls, some stepping
-lots of water even in low water
-more of a 'slide' than a 'falls'
-people usually swim in the pool at the base of the falls
-trail is shaded, falls is open to sun
-some bugs but not too bad
-short hike and small falls
-no debris in falls
-not enough elevation at the base to capture a good full view of the falls
