-Gunn Cross Road (by creek), Sunderland, Massachusetts (may not be open to public anymore, is on private property)
-visited June 2016, February 2018
-roadside
-very easy
-no bathroom
-nearby: Mount Toby, Roaring Brook Falls, Slatestone Brook Falls, Chapel Falls
-notes:
-falls is on private property, which is no longer open to the public
-parking is on the side of a narrow dirt road, wherever there is space - enter the road from Falls Road after the bridge, on the right. Roll down the window and listen for the trickle of the creek, pull over, and park. Waterfall is on the right side of the road. Creek and falls not visible from car, thats why listen for sound. Maybe half mile up the road?
-road isnt in best condition so drive slow
-falls is about a 20 foot fall
-still pretty in low water, but would be very impressive after rainfall
-hill to base of falls is a little steep and slick so use caution, comprised of loose soil, twigs and leaves
-area is all shaded by trees
-some debris at base of falls, but little to none in the falls itself
-upper portion is made of two tiers, about 100 feet down stream is a third tier
-bugs weren't bad
