-Approx. 644 S Undermountain Road (Route 41), Sheffield, Massachusetts
-visited October 2012
-approx 3 miles each way, one mile from top of falls
-difficult side of moderate
-no bathroom
-nearby: Race Brook Falls, Bash Bish Falls, Monument Mountain
-notes:
-very tiny paved parking strip on the side of the road, free
-have to cross the river, trail is not well marked
-trail is very steep and slick, is all dirt (some packed some loose), pine needles and leaves, easy to fall. once at the top of the falls it turns into rocks and boulders and requires a bit of stepping
-view at the top of the falls is just as good as the view at the summit, not really worth the extra mile each way except to say that you did it
-summit is overgrown, limited view
-used to have a tower on the summit but was removed, if stand on the cement slab left behind have a slightly better view
-summit is tree and shrub covered
