-end of Willey House Station Road, Whitefield, New Hampshire
-visited August 2015
-2.7 to Willey, additional 1.4 to Field
-moderate
-no bathroom
-nearby: Ripley Falls (Mount Willey), Mount Tom, Arethusa Falls, Mount Willard
-notes:
-dirt parking lot, free
-Ripley Falls is a short spur trail on Mount Willey
-Have to cross railroad tracks
-going up Willey is difficult, there is a lot of erosion, a ton of stepping, and a ton of man made stairs, lots of stone
-Willey has a steep incline to it on top of all the stepping
-a ton! of spider webs across the trail
-the view on Willey is from a lookout that is not actually the summit, decent limited view over the valley, have to battle trees though
-summit is marked by a pile of stones
-trail across top of the mountains is easy, mix of up and down hills, some stone/roots but much less stepping
-Field summit is marked by a pile of rocks as well
-view from Field is a short spur trail that opens to a view on the other side of the valley but again is limited by trees
-entire trail is shaded by trees
-very slick when it rains
