Monument Mountain - MA (Mountain)

-520 Stockbridge Road, Great Barrington, Massachusetts
-visited September 2015, June 2016
-3-4 miles depending on trail choice
-easy
-no bathroom
-nearby: Racebrook Falls, Mount Everett, Bash Bish Falls
-notes:
-dirt parking lot on side of road, pay to park
     -trails are very easy
-Indian Monument Trail is a flat trail with a slight incline, used to be a carriage road
-Squaw Peak Trail has some rocks and some stepping. This trail crosses over the summit and has to be taken for views
-summit is some what open, is mainly giant chunks of stone, and there are some trees blocking some of the view, but there is still a nice view. There are some nice flowers that bloom on the summit.
-the summit is all sun, the trail is all shaded by trees
     -bugs are minimal
     -summits not too breezy
