-Approx 264 Purgatory Falls Road, Lyndeborough, New Hampshire
-visited May 2016
-approx 4 miles each way
-easy
-no bathroom
-nearby: Garwin Falls, Tucker Brook Falls
-notes:
-dirt parking lot at the end of a dead end street, free
-street goes from paved to dirt, continue on dirt portion until run out of road, park off to the side, tiny trailhead sign to the right up in a tree
-continue on trail that has some roots and rocks but is fairly flat
-trail is a mix of level ground and some hills
-bugs were horrible in the morning, wear a ton of bug spray
-first of two falls is close to the beginning of the trail, its pretty, but not as impressive as the second fall which is another 3 or so miles down the trail
-pretty good in low water, but probably more impressive after rainfall
-lots of orange salamanders on the trail, be careful not to step on them
-second falls is a ways down, the ground and river level out, which can be deceptive but continue for the next set of falls
-trail is through the woods and is well shaded
-has lady slippers all throughout trail
